Job summary

OpusClip is seeking a Full-Stack AI Engineer who thrives at the intersection of applied AI, product instinct, and solid architecture. You will own end-to-end features, from frontend (React) to backend (Node.js or Django), and you’ll tackle zero-to-one chaos with strong technical judgment.

We value hands-on builders who move fast, ship continuously, and know when to apply human judgment over AI-generated code. Experience with Cursor and related AI tooling is a plus in this fast-paced environment.

The Role

OpusClip is building the next generation of AI-native products, and honestly, we need someone who can keep up. We're looking for a Full-Stack AI Engineer who lives at the intersection of applied AI, product instinct, and solid architecture. If you're the type who waits around for a ticket to land in your queue, this isn't it. We need a builder who's genuinely energized by zero-to-one chaos, brings real technical judgment to AI-generated code, and has the grit to ship stuff nobody's seen before.

What We're Looking For

• You've worked on AI-native codebases before (product or engineering background, doesn't matter) and you know how to bring order to the chaos.

• Equally comfortable on React up front and Node.js or Django in the back. You don't sit around waiting for someone else to own a layer.

• You've shipped something from scratch, ideally solo or on a tiny team. You define your own scope and actually like ambiguity.

• You've got that combat spirit — speed is everything, and shipping feels like a sport to you. (If you've seen the F1 movie, you already get it.)

• You use Cursor and other AI coding tools fluently, but you also know exactly where their limits are and when it's time for human judgment to take over.

Nice to Haves

• Multimodal AI engineering (video ML / video AI)

• A background that blends product thinking with technical depth
