Job summary

Costco is seeking candidates to greet members, assist with loading orders, and support cashiers on the sales floor. The role includes stocking, merchandising, and assisting with self-checkout processes while maintaining clean, safe front-end areas.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and assists cashier by loading orders onto the conveyor and preparing items for scanning.
• Packs orders into boxes and loads them onto carts or flats, checks packaging for tampering, and follows safety procedures.
• Assists customers with self-checkouts by scanning heavy items and entering item numbers.
• Monitors self-checkout and keeps the belt area clean of product and debris.
• Maintains cleanliness of the front-end area and registers; cleans spills immediately.
• Performs setup and closing duties for the department, returns products, stocks registers, and cleans the area.
• Transfers pallets of merchandise to shelves, bulk walls, or the sales floor.
• Assists with stocking, clears debris, ensures correct signage, and labels unmarked products.
• Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Assists in other department duties and in other warehouse areas as needed.
• Operates vehicles, equipment, or machinery as required.
