Elijahhouseliving is hiring for a front-end/warehouse associate. The role involves greeting members, assisting with bagging and packing, processing purchases, and helping with self-checkouts while maintaining a safe and clean front-end area.

The position requires the ability to operate basic equipment, follow safety protocols, and help with stocking and merchandise organization throughout the department.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented and able to greet and assist members.
• Willingness to perform front-end duties and maintain cleanliness.
• Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment and vehicles.
• If hired, you will be required to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greets members, helps with loading orders onto conveyor, determines packing preferences, answers questions, explains promotions, thanks members, assists cashier by counting items and preparing for scanning.
• Packs orders and loads them to a cart; checks packaging for tampering; follows safety procedures; assists with loading orders into cars when appropriate.
• Assists with self-checkouts for scanning heavy merchandise and entering item numbers.
• Monitors registers for errors and keeps belt area clean.
• Maintains cleanliness of register and front-end areas; cleans spills and trip hazards.
• Performs department setup and closing duties, returns products, stocks registers, cleans area.
• Transfers pallets from receiving to storage or sales floor.
• Assists with stocking, clears debris, ensures correct signage, creates signs, labels unmarked products.
• Assists with department duties as necessary and in other warehouse departments.
• Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery.
