Job summary

MECU of Baltimore is seeking a reliable Teller I/II to serve members with accuracy and a friendly approach in a community-focused credit union. You will handle cash transactions, balance drawers, and assist members with basic account needs in a typical branch setting.

You will also refer members to specialists for products and services, stay vigilant for counterfeit items, and support multi-channel service across branches and ITM terminals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• GED accepted in lieu of a diploma.
• Teller I: 6 months teller experience preferred.
• Teller II: 1 year teller experience required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and pay out funds with accuracy and efficiency.
• Balance daily cash drawer according to guidelines.
• Refer members to specialists for product information and services.
• Remain vigilant against counterfeit monetary instruments.
• Assist with service to members through multiple channels including branches and ITM.
