Job summary

UFCU in Houston is seeking a personable Personal Banker to deliver exceptional Member service, process transactions accurately, and resolve account issues of moderate complexity. You will engage Members in a consultative way, identify financial needs, and recommend solutions while supporting branch operations.

You’ll participate in community events, expand knowledge of UFCU products, and uphold our values of integrity and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in customer service and teamwork.
• Strong customer service orientation and reliability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn UFCU products.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to Members per UFCU values.
• Respond to and resolve member needs and service requests.
• Open consumer deposits and Certificates of Deposit.
• Read and review credit reports with members.
• Process loan applications and financial transactions.
• Refer members to appropriate business partners.
• Provide notary and safe deposit box services.
• Adhere to policies, procedures and ethics; complete regulatory training.
