Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in New Jersey is seeking team members to process member purchases, renewals and upgraded memberships with courtesy and care. You will greet members, scan items at the register, handle multiple payment types, and keep the frontline area clean and organized to ensure a positive shopping experience.

This role emphasizes service excellence, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills preferred.
• Prior cashier or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits clear understanding of BJ’s Membership options, including renewals and BJ’s Loyalty programs.
• Offers membership products such as renewal options and rewards redemption.
• Provides high level of customer service at the checkout and delivers accurate purchase totals.
• Scans merchandise through POS to ensure inventory accuracy and assists at self-checkout.
• Collects payments via cash, check, or other methods and issues receipts.
• Maintains cleanliness of the frontline area and assists with general club housekeeping.
