Job summary

VASA Fitness Cedar City, UT is seeking a Member Experience Specialist to greet members, build personal connections, and keep the club welcoming and well-maintained. You will guide members on memberships, upgrades, and personal training options, helping shape their fitness journey and community experience.

We value strong communication, teamwork, and a passion for health. Experience in customer service and sales is preferred; bilingual skills or CPR certification are a plus.

As the first friendly face at the front desk, the Member Experience Specialist sets the tone for every visit. By greeting members warmly, creating personal connections, and keeping the club clean and organized, you make VASA feel like home. You'll also guide members on their fitness journey by sharing information about memberships, upgrades, and personal training options. • COMPENSATION : Base rate of $11.40 per hour + commission with no cap!

WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE?

• Memberships, upgrades, and personal training sales are achieved through confident conversations and tours
• Taking ownership to keep every area of the club clean (including bathrooms, front desk area, etc.), organized, and inviting
• Member needs are addressed quickly with helpful solutions
• Feedback is shared with leadership and used to improve the member experience

WORKING CONDITIONS

Primary work in a fitness facility and office setting. Temperature variations can occur. The environment includes some ambient noise such as talking and use of gym equipment and machinery.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

• Talking: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
• Physical Strength: Non-Sedentary work, standing and walking most of the time. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to deal with a variety of variables under limited standardization. Able to interpret various instructions and relay instructions to clients
• Attendance is an essential duty of the position. Employees must work regularly scheduled shifts, during business hours to assist members and sell services in-person.
