Sacbar in Sacramento is seeking an experienced Membership Services Coordinator to support multiple nonprofit and professional associations. You will deliver outstanding member service, manage membership programs, and coordinate communications to ensure members receive value from their organizations.

The ideal candidate is friendly, highly organized, and able to work with executives, boards, volunteers, and members.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of membership services or association management experience.
• Experience with nonprofit organizations, professional associations, or trade associations desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and membership database/AMS software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for association members, responding to inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Manage membership applications, renewals, and member records with a high level of accuracy.
• Support membership recruitment and retention initiatives.
• Prepare membership reports and analyze trends.
• Support committees, boards, and volunteer leaders.
• Assist with conferences, meetings, educational programs, and special events.
• Process registrations, payments, and membership-related transactions.
• Collaborate with internal staff to ensure exceptional service for every client association.
