Hammer & Nails - Capitol Hill is seeking a Member Concierge to deliver elevated hospitality and a seamless lounge experience. You will guide guests through the wellness menu, showcase retail products, and drive membership enrollment while maintaining an immaculate front-of-house environment.

The role requires availability for evenings and weekends, a minimum of 2 years in upscale guest service, and a strong sales mindset with POS proficiency.

As a Member Concierge at Hammer & Nails, you drive our premier guest experience as the heartbeat and first impression of our shop. Your mission is to deliver unpretentious elevated hospitality focused entirely on the details. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Flawless Guest Hospitality: Orchestrate the lounge experience by executing seamless check-in and check-out rituals with grace, delivering custom beverage hospitality, and ensuring guests feel instantly known and relaxed.
• Elite Consultation & Membership Acquisition: Conduct detail-oriented guest welcome consultations to explain the wellness benefits of our multi-service menu, showcase retail product lines, and confidently drive recurring club membership enrollment.
• Schedule & Book Optimization: Act as "Air Traffic Control" utilizing booking software to manage appointments, confirm bookings, and optimize schedule efficiency for maximum service provider productivity.
• Lounge & Common Area Sanitation: Maintain a spotless, ultra-clean lounge and front-of-house environment, executing routine sanitization processes that strictly satisfy brand benchmarks and operational standards.
• Operational Setup & Support: Arrive prior to your shift with ample time to fully prepare the shop according to standard operating procedures. Assist with inventory checks, stock retail displays, wash and fold shop linens, and collaborate seamlessly with our service team to keep the entire shop interior flawless.
• Advanced Brand & Sales Mastery: Commit to ongoing education by mastering membership benefits, service menu knowledge, inventory management, and mandatory brand-specific operational training modules.
• Brand Aesthetic Compliance: Proudly wear and maintain approved shop apparel to anchor our upscale, sophisticated, and polished environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Sales & Tech Proficiency: Proven track record or natural confidence in sales, upselling, and membership closing, alongside savviness with point-of-sale and scheduling systems.
• Location & Availability: Must have reliable transportation to the shop and availability to work a schedule that includes evening and weekend shifts.
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years of active, professional experience in a premium salon, hospitality, retail, boutique fitness, or other upscale guest service environment.
• Communication Polish: Exceptional verbal communication skills and a natural, authentic ease when interacting with a professional, discerning clientele.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, move, and stay dynamically active through a standard 8-hour shift, and comfortably lift up to 25 lbs as needed to support shop operations.
• Legal Status: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

The pay range for this role is:
