Job summary

A leading metal producer in South Carolina is seeking an Operator Repair to support amorphous metal casting operations. The role involves loading raw materials, monitoring melt processes, and addressing melt issues. Candidates should have a strong safety mindset, mechanical aptitude, and at least 2 years of forklift experience. This position may require work in elevated conditions and entails up to 12-hour rotating shifts. A high school diploma is necessary, as well as the ability to comply with ITAR and EAR requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Forklift experience required.
• Basic computer skills to enter, retrieve, and evaluate data.
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs alone.

Responsibilities

• Unload delivery trucks and load charge buckets using forklift.
• Charge the melting furnace with raw materials.
• Monitor melt chemistry and address issues as needed.
