Job summary

Lite Magnesium Products, Inc. in Avon, OH is seeking Melt Deck personnel to melt magnesium and aluminum scrap and ingots, pour the molten metal into molds, and clean the melt deck. You will reload furnaces and refill aluminum pots at the end of each day, with magnesium pots refilled after each pour.

The role involves basic sand handling and requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year in manufacturing. This is a full-time 1st shift position (6am-2:30pm) with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Melt magnesium and aluminum scrap and ingots in the melt deck.
• Pour molten metal into molds and clean the melt deck.
• Reload furnaces and refill aluminum pots at day’s end; magnesium pots after each pour.
• Inspect and prepare sand for casting as needed.

Lite Magnesium Products, Inc. location in Avon, OH is a magnesium and aluminum foundry producing sand castings for the wheel and brake industry for small aircraft and helicopters.

We are looking for Melt Deck personnel to melt magnesium and aluminum scrap and ingots. Pour hot molten metal into the molds and clean the metal and melt deck. Reload the furnaces and get the aluminum pots refilled at the end of the day. Magnesium pots get refilled after each pour. Nothing else to do - you pick up sand.

• Full-time, 1st shift positions available.
• Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday.
• 6am-2:30pm.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
