Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications per physician orders and observe residents during and after passes. You will document in MAR/TAR in real time and maintain secure, clean medication carts while following infection control standards.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong documentation/communication skills. Senior care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.

• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
