Millipore Corporation is seeking a MEGASYS technician to operate gas and chemical distribution systems and support on-site semiconductor operations. The role requires handling and changing gas/chemical containers, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining safety procedures.

You will work a 12-hour night shift with potential nationwide travel, and collaborate with teams to ensure quality and timely service. 2+ years in manufacturing and an Associate degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years in semiconductor/manufacturing.
• Associate degree in Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Ability to read flow transmitters and pressure transducers.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to site protocols.

Your Role:

MEGASYS® offers specialized services in managing gases, chemicals and slurries, where our technicians and engineers provide critical on-site support in semiconductor manufacturing environments. In the MEGASYS® technician role, you will be essential in ensuring the supply of chemicals and gases necessary for producing chips used in various electronic devices. This position provides a challenging and rewarding opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to a dynamic and expanding business. As a MEGASYS® technician, you will work full-time, with responsibilities that include 24/6 operations and periodic service calls. You will work with advanced gas and chemical blending equipment, chemical reprocessing, and life safety systems, ensuring compliance with all operational and maintenance procedures, as well as emergency preparedness protocols. Key Responsibilities:

• Safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems.
• Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers.
• Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative and repair maintenance.
• Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs.
• Support of quality systems.
• Adhering to site protocols and demonstrating a safety-conscious approach.
• Primary communication point to customer.

Physical Attributes:

• 75% of time walking throughout the facility (3-5 miles per day).
• Climbing of ladders up to 12-foot-tall (utilizing fall protection).
• Basic lifting (up to 40lbs).
• Bending of the knees and overhead reaching.

This is a Night Shift position (12-hour compressed shift 7pm-7am).

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience in a semiconductor, chemical, or other manufacturing setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or other technical discipline
• Understanding of safe work practices and experience in lockout, tag out projects
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Technical aptitude to identify parts needed for a replacement or repair
• Ability to read flow transmitters, pressure transducers, understand units of measure and use precision measuring equipment
• Understand materials of construction and chemical compatibility
• Awareness to identify unsafe work conditions and report them to management
• Excellent teamwork and people skills

Pay Range for this position: $26-$40/hour

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
