Job Description

Production Technician I – $19.85/hr for day and $20.85/hr for night; must be available for both shifts.

• The MEGASYS Technician works shift without supervision, acquiring a fundamental knowledge of Specialty Gas and Chemical Products and becoming proficient in operating all Specialty Gas and Chemical Delivery Systems and equipment.
• The primary focus is material handling and logistics: ordering, receiving, inspecting, delivering, picking up and recycling.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• The position can grow into technical support; on‑the‑job training will allow the technician to develop fundamental knowledge needed to respond to abnormal conditions through minor troubleshooting and system adjustments, with appropriate notification and escalation procedures.
• Tasks include non‑invasive preventive maintenance, some invasive maintenance, and updating equipment logs.
• The technician will use ISO Quality Management and communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
• Must have strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and hands‑on technical and/or electronics experience, be willing to perform physical labor (cylinder movements), be a strong team player, and be willing to work rotating shifts, on‑call schedules, holidays, weekends, or off‑shifts. 12‑hour shifts alternate between 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week (day shift 6:00 am–6:00 pm, night shift 6:00 pm–6:00 am).

Qualifications
