Job summary

MicroTech seeks a System Engineer with expert‑level knowledge of MEDXS system architecture to support the global MEDEX/MEDXS mission across distributed environments. Responsibilities include system integration, configuration, troubleshooting, validation, and maintenance of architecture diagrams and procedures.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required and U.S. passport with 18 months validity on start
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in related fields
• DoDM 8140.03 foundational qualifications must be satisfied before privileged access

Responsibilities

• Apply MEDXS architecture expertise to engineering, integration, and sustainment activities.
• Analyze application, infrastructure, network, and database dependencies.
• Evaluate proposed system changes for compatibility and operational impact.
• Support installation, configuration, testing, and validation of approved changes.
• Diagnose system problems and maintain architecture diagrams, procedures, and configuration documentation.
• Communicate findings and coordinate solutions with engineering and operations teams.
• Manage personnel deployments and coordinate SPOT and theater clearance across multiple areas.
