Overview

Medtronic – Associate Mapping Specialist, East (Remote) – New York, NY. New graduates or current students eligible; position uses RippleMatch to identify talent.

Join Medtronic, a leading MedTech organization, to support the launch and adoption of the EP mapping and navigation system (Affera) and related Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) products. This role provides technical, clinical and sales support within the region to help drive CAS objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical, technical and educational training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.
  • Educate hospital personnel and office staff on CAS products and related procedures; promote safe and effective use.
  • Understand and support national, regional and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed goals for all CAS products.
  • Develop and cultivate customer relationships to generate incremental business.
  • Collaborate with Account Manager, Regional Manager and Area Directors to identify sales opportunities.
  • Partner with local sales to conduct customer training for mapping and CAS solutions; communicate with regional sales and clinical teams.
  • Serve as a regional Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding products, service and support.
  • Act as a regional champion to share experience and promote proficiency in mapping technology.
  • Possess the ability to travel within the territory (approximately 25% outside the territory) and to multiple accounts; valid driver’s license required.
Qualifications
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field by December 2025 or June 2026; ability to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
  • Preferred: Graduation from Cardiac Prep programs (e.g., ATI, PrepMD); demonstrated track record with technical training; strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in cardiac catheter ablation, EP lab, hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance; travel up to 25-50% within territory and occasional overnight travel.
