Job summary

SI-BONE, Inc is seeking a Software Product Manager to lead upstream software efforts for spinopelvic solutions and a pre-operative planning app. You will collaborate with engineering, regulatory, and clinical teams to shape product requirements and drive user-centered design in a fast-paced, compliant environment.

The role emphasizes agile development, risk management, and cross-functional teamwork, with remote work in the USA and occasional travel for R&D support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2–4 years experience or Master’s degree.
• 2+ years in software product management or product marketing, medical devices.
• Experience in regulated healthcare or spine is a plus.
• Hands-on with pre-operative planning, surgical navigation, 3D image-based software.
• Familiarity with SaMD development and IEC 62304/62366, ISO 14971, FDA guidance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product development and engineering on software product development.
• Lead UX/UI strategy and software design.
• Gather user needs and translate into design inputs.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, regulatory, and surgeons to launch products.
• Identify new market opportunities and support go-to-market planning.
• Maintain software requirements, user stories, and backlog with engineering.
• Plan voice-of-customer and usability activities with surgeons and OR staff.
• Coordinate with Regulatory and Quality on risk analysis and documentation.
