Job summary

BD is seeking a Shift Leader for the 2nd shift to coordinate manufacturing operations ensuring safe, compliant production of medical devices. You will lead production teams, drive performance, and foster accountability and continuous improvement on the shop floor.

The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to FDA/GMP/ISO standards, and collaboration with HR and quality teams to sustain output and quality. A bachelor's degree is preferred and experience in regulated environments is expected.

Qualifications

• Leadership across shifts to ensure continuity and performance.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to analyze production data and drive decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day production activities to meet schedules.
• Monitor safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity metrics.
• Staffing alignment with operational requirements and shift handoffs.
• Direct supervision of production associates and team leads.
• Support investigations, CAPAs, audits, and corrective actions.
• Promote a quality mindset and continuous improvement culture.
