Job summary

Shearer Companies is seeking a MedTec Technician to manage inspection coordination, cleaning, and basic testing of medical equipment in a warehouse/cleanroom setting in Tennessee. Roles span Level I–III with increasing responsibility.

The position requires TSA and forklift certifications, Hepatitis B immunization, and strong customer service skills. Prior technical experience and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification a plus.
• Six months to one year of applicable experience or the equivalent education.
• All Level II requires two additional years of technical experience; Level III requires five years plus supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection coordination and updates in Inventory Management System.
• Tag and locate inbound units for repair; coordinate repair schedules.
• Perform cleaning, decontamination and basic function tests on medical equipment.
• Maintain documentation and reports; coordinate daily calls with TEC office.
• Provide training support and act as escalation point for client communications.
• Lead and supervise workflow during Level III responsibilities when assigned.
