Job summary

BD is a global medical technology leader committed to advancing the world of health. This role focuses on driving quality and regulatory excellence at the Broken Bow facility, leading continuous improvement efforts and collaborating across functions to resolve manufacturing issues.

The candidate will apply Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to reduce defects and waste while ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, ISO standards and BD policies.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience; internships or co-op also considered.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work across diverse teams.
• Flexible and adaptable to support a variety of day-to-day responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as a resource to work groups and project teams on quality/regulatory issues.
• Lead Kaizen teams to improve quality and reduce waste.
• Investigate and provide engineering solutions to quality manufacturing issues.
• Coordinate machine and process capability studies and recommendations.
• Ensure activities comply with OSHA, EPA, FDA, ISO regulations and BD policies.
• Support plant safety initiatives.
