Torrey Holistics in Greenwood, IN is seeking a MedTech Manufacturing Operations Lead to orchestrate people, processes, and equipment to deliver compliant, cost-effective medical devices. You will co-manage one of two facility Operations Managers and drive capacity plans, productivity, and continuous improvement.

The role requires 8–10 years in medical device manufacturing with a focus on safety, standard work, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management from an accredited college/university.
• 8–10 years of medical device manufacturing experience or an equivalent combination.
• Experience directing manufacturing operations and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, organize, and control all assigned manufacturing operations, including oversight of machine programming and safety programs.
• Develop and implement capacity plans to support projected sales volumes.
• Manage production processes to achieve cost and quality objectives; ensure products meet procedures and specifications.
• Review production/operating reports to resolve issues and reduce delays.
• Create and revise standard operating procedures and ensure adherence.
• Lead safety programs, on-the-job training, and return-to-work processes.
• Supervise staff per policy, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Compile and retrieve production data for decision-making.

MedTech Manufacturing Operations LeadStep into a site-level leadership role where you orchestrate people, processes, and equipment to deliver compliant, cost-effective medical devices. You will be one of two Operations Managers in the facility, with scope that flexes as business priorities evolve. Your mission: ensure your area advances the company’s growth and profitability goals.A day in the lifeStart of day: Review production orders and schedules, align capacity plans to forecasted demand, and set priorities and sequences to hit committed dates.Mid-morning: Walk the floor to inspect machines and equipment, validate performance and utilization, and address maintenance, operational, or manufacturing bottlenecks.Midday: Coach supervisors and teams, manage direct labor to meet labor cost targets, and reinforce standard work and quality procedures.Afternoon: Analyze production and operating reports, solve problems to minimize costs and prevent delays, and update or create operating procedures to maintain compliance.End of day: Oversee safety programs and on-site training, manage incident procedures and return-to-work processes, and ensure accurate compilation and retrieval of production data.What you’ll ownDirect, plan, organize, and control all assigned manufacturing operations—including machine programming oversight and safety programs.Develop and implement capacity plans that support expected sales volumes.Manage production processes to achieve cost and quality objectives; ensure products meet established procedures and specifications.Continuously review production/operating reports; resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to avoid delays and reduce costs.Inspect equipment for performance and optimal utilization.Create and revise standard operating and working procedures; ensure adherence.Address employee concerns and grievances; escalate unresolved issues to senior leadership.Compile, store, and retrieve production data for decision-making.Lead approved procedures for on-the-job injuries, including documentation, medical attention, follow-up, and return-to-work support.Deliver the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of manufacturing operations.Exercise full supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policy and applicable laws: interviewing, hiring, training, work assignment, performance appraisal, recognition/discipline, and complaint resolution.Perform other related duties as required or assigned.What you’ll bringBachelor’s degree in Management from an accredited college/university.8–10 years of medical device manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
