Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking highly motivated Engineering Co‑op students to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. You will support development, optimization, and sustainment of ophthalmic medical device manufacturing operations in a regulated environment.

The role spans Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering focuses, offering hands‑on experience, cross‑functional collaboration, and exposure to Lean/Six Sigma initiatives. CPT/ OPT constraints and U.S. work authorization apply.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or related engineering field.
• Must be enrolled and returning to school after the co-op.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
• Ability to work full-time during the co-op term.

Responsibilities

• Support cross‑functional Manufacturing Engineering projects.
• Assist in process development, optimization, and validation.
• Assist with equipment qualification, process documentation, and continuous improvement.
