Job summary

IQVIA MedTech CFS seeks a field-based technician to install, update, and configure medical devices at hospitals, with travel across regional, national, and local sites. You will verify systems, troubleshoot issues, and educate staff on software functions.

Responsibilities include adherence to calibration procedures and hospital credentialing requirements, with shifts Monday–Friday and some nights or weekends as needed. Vaccine/credentialing compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel extensively for field-based service assignments.
• Associate degree in biomedical, IT, electronics, or a related field preferred.
• 1+ year of technical experience required; 3+ years in a field technician role preferred.
• Experience in IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy technology is a plus.
• Must maintain personal parts inventory, sourcing from approved vendors.

In this role, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals, going to hospital to perform software upgrade for automated medication dispensing devices.

Assignments and Shifts

• Assignment based position requiring open availability Monday–Friday; work occurs 28–32 hours per week, plus travel time.
• Position requires some nights and weekends based on customer needs.
• Travel is regional, national, and local, with work scheduled during weekdays.
• Duties may require compliance with hospital vaccine and credentialing requirements.

The potential base pay range for this role is $30-32 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
