Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or Electronic Engineering Technology preferred; military tech training acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake inspections, diagnostic testing, and documentation for returned devices.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic assemblies to root causes.
• Disassemble, repair, recalibrate, and verify device subsystems and software modules.
• Perform post-repair verification tests including electrical safety.
• Sign off as authorized technical inspector for product release to customers.
• Create and maintain Device History Records and NCRs with FDA/ISO compliance.
• Ensure proper sanitization and bioburden control prior to decontamination.
• Maintain ESD controls, clean workspace, and inventory accuracy.
