Job summary

Globus Medical is seeking a proactive Supply Chain Buyer to manage planning and purchasing for machined components in a fast-paced medical device environment. You will maintain accurate ERP data, manage POs, and monitor supplier performance while collaborating with Planning, Production Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality to resolve issues and optimize cost, delivery, and inventory.

You will work with data to identify trends, support NPI, and drive improvements in planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent.
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP) or progress toward one.
• Typically 3–5 years of buying/planning experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device, aerospace, or similar) preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supplier performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Owns the buy/plan cycle for assigned mechanical and machined parts within the ERP.
• Executes weekly MRP review and resolves exceptions.
• Monitors on-time delivery (OTD) and PPV; builds supplier dashboards.
• Maintains item master data for machined/mechanical parts.
• Supports new part introduction (NPI) and engineering changes with suppliers.
• Investigates receiving discrepancies, invoice mismatches, and non-conformances.
