Job summary

Becton Dickinson in the United States is seeking an assembler to manufacture and assemble medical devices in a fast-paced setting. You will operate standard and specialty assembly equipment, perform setup, and ensure quality and safety.

Responsibilities include following GMPs, meeting daily production goals, assisting with training, and participating in continuous improvement. A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through testing or experience.
• Ability to read and follow written specifications.
• Basic math and measurement reading proficiency.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and GMPs.
• Assemble products using standard and specialty machines or hand operations.
• Perform operations such as pressing, bonding, soldering, and inspection as required.
• Gauge parts with go/no-go gauges and set fixtures.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality.
• Support MOB Engineering activities including MRB investigations and ESM production.
• Assist with training of manufacturing personnel as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance.
• Work flexible or extended hours and maintain consistent attendance.
• Demonstrate required certifications or training and rotate among tasks as needed.
