Job summary

Gifted Healthcare is seeking a MedSurg RN in Kansas City, MO to provide bedside care, perform initial assessments, and develop individualized plans of care. Strong assessment skills, infection control, and teamwork with physicians, nurses and support staff are required.

You will prepare, administer, and document medications, assist physicians during exams and procedures, and respond to symptom changes with appropriate action while maintaining patient safety and quality of care.

• MedSurg RNs prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications
• Initiate alternative action when adverse symptomology is displayed
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs when necessary
• Shift: 3x12 Nights
