Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside is seeking a staff nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while adhering to organizational policies and maintaining high standards of practice.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN, have or are eligible for Georgia RN licensure, and may have 1 year of hospital experience. Additional certifications may be required depending on unit assignments.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• 1 year hospital experience preferred for PRN positions.
• Current RN license in Georgia or NLC/eNCL; BCLS required.
• Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS, etc.) depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Functions within organizational policies and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
• Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities of assigned staff.
