Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant/Unit Coordinator (CNA/UC) to join the unit-based care team. You will perform direct patient care tasks, monitor vitals, and support unit operations under RN/LPN supervision.

Required: High School diploma, BLS and CNA certification, English proficiency, and orientation completion. Strong interpersonal skills and accuracy are essential for timely patient responses and quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Previous knowledge of medical terminology, typing, computer skills and Unit Secretary experience preferred.
• Successful completion of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care tasks: activities of daily living, vital signs, glucometry, EKGs, weights, intake/output data collection.
• Indirect care: transport, restocking, obtaining supplies; respond to patient/family needs.
• Clerical, receptionist and unit coordinating duties on patient care units.
