Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Medical Driver in Sioux Falls, SD to transport lab specimens, medical records, and supplies on fixed evening shifts. You will operate a company vehicle, scan items, and ensure timely deliveries. A professional appearance and dependable, safe driving are essential.

Requirements include a driving history check, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the ability to pass drug and alcohol screening. Training is provided and the role offers a full-time schedule at $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or older with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Must pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work with technology and follow procedures closely.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials in a company vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Load and unload items using proper equipment.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Demonstrate teamwork and a professional image with clients.
