Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Medication Reconciliation Pharmacy Technician to accurately obtain medication histories on admission, record them in the electronic system, and perform standard tech duties in a timely manner.

Candidates must hold a Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license, state certification CFHT within 12 months, PTCB certificate within 12 months, and be fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Florida State Registered Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
• National Certification CFHT within 12 months of hire.
• Medication History Certificate (PTCB) within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medication histories upon patient admission.
• Enter medication histories into the electronic data base.
• Perform basic pharmacy technician functions in a timely manner.
