You will follow safety practices, read construction drawings, and document all splicing activities. The role requires hands-on expertise with cable tuggers, rigging, and crimp tools, and offers on-site compensation with travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Valid NCSCB certificate for splicing and terminating shielded MV cables (preferred).
• Confined space training preferred.
• Proven MV Cable Splicer experience with safety focus.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Completion of an apprenticeship is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Cable splicing and termination of shielded MV cables using various kits and technologies.
• Coordinate with project teams to meet timelines and specs.
• Maintain safety practices and perform regular safety assessments.
• Conduct testing to verify splice integrity and standards compliance.
• Document all splicing activities and reports.
