Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking a Medium Duty Truck Sales Representative to solicit commercial truck sales with assigned accounts and via personal and phone contacts. The role supports growth for a leading network of truck and bus dealerships across the US, representing Peterbilt, International, Hino, Isuzu, Ford, IC Bus and Blue Bird.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three months of sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Knowledge of truck specifications desired.
• Familiarity with dealership accounting software and general computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new customers as directed by management.
• Maintain client and prospect databases.
• Complete truck paperwork using dealership systems.
• Coordinate service work with the service department.
• Coordinate financing and insurance with relevant departments.
• Be available for floor days, meetings and other duties.
• Meet performance criteria set by the sales manager.

The Medium Duty Truck Sales Representative solicits commercial truck sales business from assigned accounts and/or through personal and phone contacts.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new customers in a manner prescribed by management.
• Maintain client and prospect databases.
• Follow departmental procedures in completing truck paperwork using available systems tools.
• Coordinate service work with the service department.
• Coordinate financing and insurance with the appropriate departments.
• Coordinate with supervisor and be available for assigned floor days, required meetings and other appointed times consistent and required to conduct and maintain sales department business.
• Meet established performance criteria as determined by sales manager.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum Pay Rate

USD $36,000.00/Hr.

Maximum Pay Rate

USD $65,000.00/Hr.
