Job description

CereCore is seeking a MEDITECH Magic Pharmacy Analyst to support the MEDITECH Magic system for our parent company, HCA. This role focuses on troubleshooting user issues, maintaining data integrity, and supporting system functionality to ensure continuity of operations. Working under the guidance of senior analysts and IT leadership, the analyst will assist in resolving service requests, documenting support activities, and collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to optimize use of the system. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals with a strong interest in healthcare IT, looking to build foundational experience with one of the industry’s longstanding electronic health record platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported problems within MEDITECH Magic
  • Provide support for the Magic Pharmacy module
  • Document support issues, resolutions, and recurring trends for future reference
  • Assist in testing and validating fixes or updates to the system
  • Monitor system performance and escalate technical issues as needed
  • Coordinate with senior analysts or vendors for complex issue resolution
  • Support user access management, such as setting up and deactivating accounts
  • Assist in basic training and guidance for end-users of MEDITECH Magic modules

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7 years MEDITECH Magic experience
  • Pharmacy or Pharmacy Technician background preferred
  • Magic Pharmacy experience and providing support for workflows and order sets
  • Proven ability to define project requirements and collaborate effectively within project teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and accountable approach.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor with a customer service focus.
