Job summary

ELLKAY LLC is seeking a MEDITECH Platform Integration Engineer to design and implement end-to-end data integration between MEDITECH Magic/CS and enterprise systems. The role focuses on HL7 interfaces, data extraction from MR/DR repositories, and real-time synchronization.

The ideal candidate will have extensive MUMPS/M language experience, deep knowledge of MEDITECH NPR/BAR modules, and proficiency with ETL tools and SQL Server.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with MEDITECH Magic (NPR, BAR, LAB, PHA, ADM)
• 3+ years with MEDITECH Client/Server or Expanse including Data Repository
• Experience reading/writing MUMPS in MEDITECH Magic
• Proficiency extracting data from MEDITECH file systems and relational databases
• Experience developing HL7 v2.x interfaces and SQL Server queries
• Experience with ETL/integration tools (SSIS, Mirth Connect, Informatica)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end MEDITECH integration solutions (MEDITECH Magic and CS/Expanse)
• Configure/manage HL7 v2.x interfaces using MEDITECH Interface Engine and middleware
• Extract data from MEDITECH databases and ensure real-time synchronization
• Develop and maintain MEDITECH data extraction routines (NPR, BAR)
• Build integrations leveraging MEDITECH FHIR APIs and REST web services
• Troubleshoot interface failures, data mismatches, and connectivity issues
