Contract Length: 6-12 months

CereCore is a healthcare solutions provider that specializes in offering IT services, workforce management, and operational support to healthcare organizations. They focus on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare systems through various solutions, including electronic health record (EHR) support, IT staffing, and consulting services.

Position Summary

As a MEDITECH Expanse Revenue Cycle (RCG) Consultant, you will play a crucial role in the successful implementation and optimization of the MEDITECH Expanse Revenue Cycle application across healthcare organizations. Leveraging your expertise in revenue cycle management, healthcare operations, and MEDITECH systems, you will collaborate with healthcare clients to design, configure, test, and implement revenue cycle workflows, ensuring the efficient capture, processing, and reporting of financial data within the Expanse platform.

Responsibilities

1. Travel expected to be 50%+
2. Experience with installation of clinical electronic healthcare systems.
3. Working knowledge of MEDITECH's RCG module.
4. Able to assimilate feedback from clients and actively drive process improvement and culture change as implemented/approved by leadership.
5. Uses professional knowledge and experience to advise the client on optimal workflows and system functions.
6. Openly shares this knowledge with peers via Peer to Peer training.
7. Develops documentation and project content for internal or external utilization.
8. Has excellent communication skills verbally and in writing, customer service focus, and is able to work independently or on a project team.
9. Drives client communication process to develop and enhance client understanding of the project Best Practice, project timelines, tasks, client commitment, risk/issue impacts and mitigation.
10. Independently monitors own work for accuracy and thoroughness.
11. Shares knowledge with project teams, clients, and drives the process change with clients and within a team.
12. Prioritizes own tasks and assists peers with task identification and documentation.
13. Understands project deliverables and level of effort to complete. Participates in the strategic planning with clients or utilizes project knowledge in the statement of work development process.
14. Drives to incorporate Lessons Learned into department practice/methodology, including process improvement.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree preferred.
2. 7+ years of hands-on experience with MEDITECH.
3. Expert in MEDITECH Expanse Revenue Cycle module.
4. Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
5. Intermediate to expert ability to work in Office suite products: Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
6. Must have strong documentation skills, organization skills, and the ability to interact with team members cross-functionally.
7. Provides coaching and technical and functional guidance on specific project deliverables.
8. Leads in communicating requirements to development, testing, education, and training teams.
9. Good organization skills.
10. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
