Thermo Fisher Scientific in High Point, NC is seeking a Medicine Associate/Formulation Technician II to manufacture quality fill material for encapsulation in our pharma services operation. You will follow SOPs, batch records and cGMP guidelines while handling raw materials and preparing neat fills for the encapsulation line.

You’ll work a 12-hour day shift on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, become proficient with multiple equipment types, and contribute to a compliant, safe production environment

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Read and adhere to workplace procedures such as SOPs, Batch Records, cGMPs, and MSDS memos.
• Retrieve, weigh, identify, mix, and store raw materials.
• Cleans equipment and performs all other cleaning duties in area.
• Manufactures neat fills/blends and complex batches.
• Produces quality fill material including simple potent compounds for use in encapsulation department utilizing multiple types of equipment and processes.
• May operate forklift.

Location/Division Specific Information:

As part of the Pharma Services Group (PSG), the High Point, NC site focuses on gelatin-based drug delivery dosage forms (softgels). We offer extensive development and commercial scale capabilities for a variety of softgels technologies.

How Will You Make an Impact?

The Medicine Associate/Formulation Technician II will be responsible for manufacturing a quality fill material for use in our encapsulation process.

A Day in the Life:

• Read and adhere to workplace procedures such as SOPs, Batch Records, cGMP’s, and MSDS memos.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
• Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
• Preferred: Pallet Jack & Forklift experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations and troubleshooting skills
• The ability to work a 12-hour shift in a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation.
• Meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested.
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds.

• Close and color vision is required.
