Position Overview

TerraBella Senior Living operates over 30 communities across the Carolinas, Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee, offering a range of senior living options including Active Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Respite Care. Starting pay is $15.50 for no experience, up to $16.50 with experience.

Job Details

We are seeking a Part Time Care/Medication Technician at our Terra Bella Harrisburg community for the 3p-11p shift. The role involves providing hands-on care, emotional and physical support, and maintaining a safe, home-like environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents, including regular checks and monitoring for changes in condition.
• Report and document symptoms, behaviors, and other relevant health information.
• Respond promptly to security and call bells.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Engage residents in activities and promote independence and dignity.
• Assist with resident laundry and maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.

Medication Technician Duties

• Review service plans and assist with medication administration following the Six Rights of Medication Pass.
• Document medication administration accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist in medication management, including restocking and checking medications.
• Participate in the development and updating of service plans.
• Monitor vital signs and report occupational exposures immediately.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required; CNA certification preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is a plus.
