Compensation

Starting pay is $15.50 with no experience, up to $16.50 with experience.

Position Overview

We are seeking a part-time Care/Medication Technician for the 11pm-7am shift at our Terra Bella Harrisburg community. The role involves providing hands-on care, emotional and physical support to residents, and maintaining a safe, home-like environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage a designated group of residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  2. Observe, document, and report changes in residents' conditions.
  3. Respond promptly to security and call system alerts.
  4. Notify supervisors of increased care needs.
  5. Assist with continence management and sanitation.
  6. Serve and assist with meals, report any issues.
  7. Maintain cleanliness of residents' rooms and work areas.
  8. Follow hygiene and safety standards.
  9. Support residents in maintaining independence and dignity.
  10. Assist with activities of daily living and engage residents in activities.
  11. Greet and assist visitors, family, vendors, and team members.
  12. Perform resident laundry as needed.
Medication Technician Duties
  1. Review service plans and assist with medication administration.
  2. Document medication administration accurately.
  3. Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
  4. Report concerns to healthcare staff.
  5. Restock and maintain medication supplies and records.
  6. Participate in medication and service plan updates.
  7. Take vital signs and other health measurements.
  8. Report any occupational exposures immediately.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Preferred: Certified Nurse’s Aid certification.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
  • Experience with seniors preferred.
