Job summary

Heartis Venice seeks an experienced Medication Technician to provide care and medication administration for Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care residents. This role reports to the Wellness Director and supports multiple shifts.

The position is offered full‑time or part‑time with a sign‑on bonus. Benefits include medical, dental and vision, company‑paid life insurance, disability coverage, paid time off, holidays, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• The team member who assists or administers medication shall be authorized by the applicable state governing authority.
• Meet requirements of the state assisted living medication assistant guidelines.
• Preferably experience in medication assistance with older adults.
• Demonstrates organizational skills and a cheerful personality.

Responsibilities

• Administer and/or assist with self‑administration of prescribed medication to residents under RN/LPN supervision.
• Verify resident identity and record drug name, dosage, route and time of administration.
• Present medications to residents and observe ingestion or other application.
• Take vital signs and report any adverse reactions to the Wellness Manager.
• Maintain accurate medication records and adherence to community policies.
• Perform housekeeping duties related to resident care and document observations.
