Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is hiring a Medication Technician to supervise and assist in administering medications to residents. You will work with the care team to support daily activities, encourage participation in programs, and ensure safety in accordance with policies.

Requirements include a minimum age of 18, HS diploma or equivalent, and ability to operate MS Office. Experience in RCFE settings is preferred; vaccination/testing may be required for safety.

Qualifications

• Experience with medication administration preferred in a residential care setting.
• State regulations may require training/certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS diploma or equivalent; LVN is a plus.
• Ability to operate MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with staff and other departments.
