Job summary

The Residence at Willow Grove is hiring Medication Technicians (Med Techs/CMTs) to provide safe, compassionate medication assistance for residents. This part-time role offers shift variety and opportunities to grow in a supportive team environment.

Starting pay is $20.00/hr for 1st shift and $21.00/hr for 2nd/3rd shift, with an additional $1 per hour for an active CNA license. Scheduling includes all shifts, with every other weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved Medication Technician Training Program required.
• Minimum of one year of direct care experience with older adults in a long-term care setting required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and accurately document oral, topical, and suppository medications
• Take and record resident vital signs, including pulse and blood pressure
• Administer PRN medications as directed
• Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Maintain accurate Medication Administration Records, controlled substance logs, resident records, and Move N documentation
• Provide compassionate support while promoting resident safety and well-being

The Residence at Willow Grove is seeking Medication Technicians, also known as Medication Associates, Med Techs, or CMTs, to provide safe and compassionate medication assistance to our residents.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare, administer, and accurately document oral, topical, and suppository medications
• Take and record resident vital signs, including pulse and blood pressure
• Administer PRN medications as directed
• Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Maintain accurate Medication Administration Records, controlled substance logs, resident records, and Move N documentation
• Provide compassionate support while promoting resident safety and well-being

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Completion of a state-approved Medication Technician Training Program required
• Minimum of one year of direct care experience with older adults in a long-term care setting required
• Previous Medication Technician experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Home Health Aide or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification preferred
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks, assessment and drug test
