Job summary

Platinum Communities is seeking a Medication Technician to provide safe medication administration and compassionate resident care within a supportive team.

You will review ISPs, monitor changes in condition, assist with ADLs, and collaborate with dietary, activities, and housekeeping to maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

Must complete CBRF training and uphold HIPAA, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of CBRF medication administration training.
• Read, write, and follow written and verbal English instructions.
• Flexibility to work beyond regular hours, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately according to Six Rights.
• Support personal care and daily living activities for residents/tenants.
• Review ISPs and document changes in residents' condition.
• Maintain medication records and ensure proper storage and disposal.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain a safe environment.
• Mentor new caregiving staff and assist with onboarding.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and secure health information.
