Job summary

The Kensington in Cumberland, MD is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician to join our EPIC team on a part-time basis. You’ll administer medications, maintain records, and monitor residents’ well-being, supporting daily living with dignity and respect.

You’ll collaborate with nurses and document each interaction to help residents live their best lives in a supportive environment. This role requires Maryland Medication Technician Certification, strong communication, attention to detail,

Qualifications

• Maryland Medication Technician Certification: Current medication technician certification through the Maryland Board of Nursing is required.
• Communication Skills: Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and team members.
• Attention to Detail: Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
• Basic Computer Skills: Use electronic systems for medication tracking and documentation.
• Heart for Seniors: Have a genuine interest in helping older adults live their best lives.
• Dependability: Be available to work the assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
