Medication Technician (Med Tech) - Memory Care - Part-time - Evenings

Location: Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Richmond, Midlothian

Position: Part-time Med Tech (Virginia Med Tech certification required) with $2,500 Sign-on Bonus

Job Summary

The Medicine Aide/Technician assists with prescribed medications and treatments under supervision, maintaining related records. Acts as a Resident Caregiver, supporting residents in daily activities per their service plans, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, and information needs. Requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to interactions with residents and families.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent; successful completion of required training
  • Empathetic, resourceful, flexible, attentive, compassionate, team-oriented
  • Ability to read thermometers, charts, operate household appliances
  • Good physical and mental health
  • Experience with elderly care; dementia experience preferred
  • Certification as per state regulations
Physical Demands

Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, pull, lift up to 20-50 pounds, and perform tasks requiring full use of hands, arms, and legs.
