Job summary

Meridian Senior Living in Woodmere, NY is hiring a Med Tech to assist in administering medications to residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines. You will maintain care records, report changes in residents’ conditions, and interact with residents, families and staff with professionalism to ensure safety and satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a current HHA certification, plus at least one year of experience with medications and the elderly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current and valid Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Minimum of one year experience working with medications and the elderly population
• Must possess all required licenses/certifications if required by State licensing authority
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly

• Assist in the administration of medications to residents following company regulatory guidelines
• Keep proper care records and report changes in resident conditions

As a Med Tech, the primary purpose of your job position is to assist in the administering of medications to residents following company regulatory guidelines. Other tasks include keeping proper care records, reporting any changes in resident’s conditions, and interacting with internal and external customers in a professional manner while ensuring resident safety and satisfaction is a priority.
