Responsibilities

• Based on state regulations and required training, medication aides/techs will administer or assist with self-administration of medications as prescribed and observe/report responses to supervisor.
• Certified medication aides/techs ensure the medication supply room is organized and clean, assist with medication cart audits, and coordinate with pharmacies for medication delivery.
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification is required.
