Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Medication Technician for Ivy Park at Wood Ranch, a premier senior living community in California. The role covers medication preparation and distribution, coordination with pharmacies and physicians, and maintaining accurate care records within a safety-focused team.

Qualifications include at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally LVN experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience assisting with medication for elderly residents
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel) and related software
• Must pass Criminal Background check and health screenings (TB)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents
• Coordinate medication services with resident pharmacy and physician
• Order and track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident medication and care records
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff residents and guests following established safety standards
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co workers and other departments

Qualifications

• Prefer one 1 year of experience assisting with medication at a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly RCFEBased on state regulation completion of training certification may be required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• A high school diploma or equivalent; a Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN is a plus
• Must be able to operate MS Office programs Word Excel etc
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees supervisors physicians healthcare professionals residents and their families
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including physical and TB Tests
