VibraLife is a Rehabilitation Center and Senior Living Community comprised of a short-term rehabilitation/skilled nursing facility as well as an assisted living unit. Located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Vibralife is a beautiful, one-story, state-of-the-art facility that includes the Vibra Rehabilitation Center and Vibra Senior Living. Expertly designed to address comprehensive care and living needs post injury or illness, VibraLife delivers a fully integrated care continuum for both patients and residents.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting residents, their family members and prospective residents as needed. Supervises and records medications. Assists residents with all activities of daily living when necessary. Assists residents in or out of bed. Takes and records vital signs. Communicates with Physicians and consultants, and provides follow up. Makes Physician appointments and arranges transportation if needed. Responsible for knowledge of and compliance with state regulations, filing necessary reports, and assisting in training new employees. Responds to emergency alert calls. Helps maintain the self respect, personal dignity and physical safety of each resident.

Required Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional Qualifications/Skills
  • Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
  • Ability to follow departmental safety, sanitation and hazardous waste procedures and regulations.
  • Ability to understand and respect confidential nature of resident charts and medical information. Ability to deal with residents and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to deal with emergencies in a composed manner. Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
