Job summary

Vitality Living Preston Hollow is seeking a Medication Technician to administer medications and assist with self-administration for residents in Dallas, TX. You will maintain daily records, observe residents, and report changes to supervisors, while keeping the medicine supply area organized and compliant.

We offer full-time roles with shifts 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm and benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, PTO, 401k, and attendance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Maintain any certification as required by state regulations.
• Meet state health-related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with self‑administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by the health care provider.
• Maintain residents' records daily promptly and following company policy and procedure.
• Observe and document the health and emotional condition of each resident, promptly reporting all changes to the supervisor.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the medicine supply room.
• Complete an accurate accounting of all medications, including controlled substances.
• Assist with the completion of medication cart audits.
